Mrs. Corrine Wells, your Library Media Specialist is here to help students, teachers and members of the community to build partnerships for learning and independent readers. It's a place where information power stress that student achievement is the bottom line. The LMC supports the curriculum as a research and information hub of the school. No food, drink, or gum is allowed in the library.
The library is open every school day from 6:55 A. M. until 2:40 P.M. Students may visit the library during class time with teacher or planner to acquire assigned materials. We have approximately 18,000 books, at least 70 seventy magazines adn daily mewspapers in our collection, as wells as, automated card catalog and computerized research tools.
Books and paperbackscheck out for two weeks, magazines check out for 3 days. Reference books and reserve materials may be check out overnight. Audio visual materials circulate on an as needed basis. Library fines are .10 per school day; holidays and weekends are excluded.
There are 8 networked computers, with two lasers printers, scanner, TV monitors and LCD projector on the main floor for group and class use. Printing is available without charge however, permission must be secured. Computers may be used for school related work. All students must abide by the EBRPS Computer and internet Use policy as stated in the Students Rights & Responsibilities Handbook. Failure to do so will result in a loss of computer priviledges. Remember the EBRP School Board does not allow email, games, purchasing of products/ services, or any kind of "chat" on school computers. A copy machine is available in the LMC. The cost per copy is .10.
