What is School-Wide PBIS? Why is it important?
PBIS is a state-mandated program introduced to EBRSS to primarily:
- Reduce the number of behavior infractions.
- Positively redirect negative behavior.
- Educate our students on how to behave in a more positive way.
Results have shown that when a PBIS program is implemented with fidelity, schools see a big difference! An increase in positive behavior and improved social skills results in an increase in academic achievement!
